At the end of each month I want to share a favorite product, service or business that I use regularly and just LOVE.
I’m not making a commission off of this post, so don’t worry. I’m sharing this because I want you to know about a product I think is awesome. By the way, even if I was making a commission or being compensated in some way, I still wouldn’t share anything with you that I didn’t totally love and use myself.
Favorite Products – January 2018
It’s easy to forget that your skin is the biggest organ in your body, but it’s true. While our skin is an excellent indicator of what’s happening beneath the surface, it’s important to also treat our skin well. This means that using products that contain harmful ingredients (which are typically ingredient names we cannot pronounce) can take a negative toll on our health, should we use those products enough.
I learned about Lemongrass Spa when we lived in Colorado a few years back. The products are marketed and sold via consultants who showcase the products at in home parties. I attended one such party and when I learned about what the products are made of (and what they aren’t made of) as well as how useful they are, I was hooked.
It has been almost four years since I started using Lemongrass Spa products and I don’t have a single complaint! I use many of their products regularly, but the following are among my most favorite:
Favorite Product #1 – Healing Elements Balm
My most favorite of all their products is called Healing Elements. And that is exactly what this stuff is. It heals everything! I have put it on scrapes, diaper rash, irritated or burned skin, dry skin, chapped lips, and eczema. It works so well and it doesn’t burn or tingle at all so my kids love it.
This is my go to product for severely chapped or dry skin. Michael’s hands always get rough and chapped during the dry winter months so he keeps our Healing Elements close by.
Favorite Product #2 – Hand and Body Lotion
Losh: a girl’s best friend. You know it’s hard to find a decent lotion that smells good and goes on smooth without feeling greasy. Enter Lemongrass Spa’s hand and body lotion. I personally use it every single day.
Some lavender scented products smell like chemicals to me, but this one doesn’t at all. It has a soothing scent that is mild, but noticeable. While I have tried many of Lemongrass’s different scents, the Lavender Vanilla is by far my favorite. Period. Exclamation point.
Bonus Favorite Product #3 – Non-Toxic Deodorant
I was only going to share two products but then I found two more that I use all the time, and I just can’t help myself! Lemongrass Spa has the best non-toxic deodorant I have ever found. There are several difference scents to choose from, but I use the Lavender Vanilla scent. It doesn’t burn my skin or wear off during the day.
Also, I just want to let you know that this conversation is about to get real.
To further validate this product’s performance I will now freely admit to you that I am a pretty sweaty person. I mean, the room temperature is totally fine and I’m not nervous, but I’m pitting out my shirt while I type. Sick.
I’m cool though, so still be my friend!
Anyway, it doesn’t take much for each underarm so one jar lasts two-three months. Not bad for ten bucks!
*Bonus Favorite*
Who doesn’t love a bonus?! I almost left this product out, but I just can’t. The Lemongrass Spa Deodorant Spray is too great a product to leave off this list.
I’m not even going to get into all the things this could be used for besides deodorant, but I’ll tell you I have sprayed this in public restrooms, in my car, on my kids, and in my suitcase. It’s so handy to have in your purse!
And of course I love the Lavender Vanilla scent. It’s right for every occasion. Ha!
Lemongrass Spa has a body product for pretty much any place between the top of your head and the tip of your toes, but these are my favorites. And did you notice that most of what I shared with you is small enough to fit in your purse or carry on luggage? Seriously. So many benefits.

Lemongrass Spa Products have been life changing for our family. When I learned that it only takes 29 seconds for what goes on your skin to be absorbed into your body and blood, I took a good hard look at what ingredients were in the products we were using. It grossed me out and scared me to death. Now we use Lemongrass for everything and we feel so much better, our entire bodies, inside and out. It’s empowering and freeing! We love Lemongrass Spa.
